What is Grief & Loss?

Simply defined, grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind. It is the conflicting feelings caused by the end of or change in a familiar pattern of behavior.

Conflicting feelings are opposing emotional responses resulting from the same loss, like pain and relief. For example, when someone dies after suffering a long illness, those left behind may feel emotional pain knowing they can no longer see or touch the person. At the same time, they may feel a sense of relief knowing that the person’s suffering is over. 

Grief is individual and unique. As every rela­tionship is different, so are the thoughts and feelings each person has about the rela­tionship that has been altered by any of the following:

7 Week one-on-one

7 Week

This program is for those who prefer personal one-on-one session in a more private setting online from comfort from their home.  This program guides you to resolve your loss issues and helps you move beyond the grief.  As a result of participating in this program, your life may become more enriched, more live and more fulfilled than ever before. It is a 7 meeting action based program with commitment of homework and reading.

Helping Children with Loss

4 Week

The vast majority of parents find themselves at a loss when trying to help their children deal with any grieving experience that impacts them. This 4 meeting is designed to teach parents, and others who work with children, the necessary tools to help children effectively deal with their broken hearts, no matter the loss they are facing. This program can be delivered individually or in a group.

Pet Loss Support

6 Week

The loss of a pet can be emotionally devastating. Sadly, the impact of the heartbreak of this type of loss is often downplayed or ignored by friends and family. This 6-meeting program is focused on offering pet owners an effective mechanism for taking action to move through and beyond their grief. This program can be delivered individually in a private setting or in a group with homework.
